  2. Thanks everyone! Yes haha some of the graphics are unfinished or simply place holders. The roof was from a top down RPG I was making prior so I sort of just used it for the mean time. Everything will get adjusted and perfected over time. **Edit: I have adjusted the roof tops to be in the correct perspective. It was bugging a lot of people from multiple forums so I decided to adjust it. What do you guys think?**

Dim will take you on a black horror adventure through all of the scary old folklore/tales you may or may not have read up on. The scenery here is quite dreadful, Hundreds of body's hanging from trees. Blood and worms and swarms of flies. I'm not so sure why anyone would even pass by here… But you did... Start your quest by speaking with a local of the hills. He will give you a bit of history on the hanging hills and send you on your way to observe the area. As your walking through here You notice a small black dog following you through the area. If you search the crates nearby you will find a piece of cooked meat. give this to the dog and he will go away. If you go back to the local and tell him about the black dog you saw, the man will start to panic and get upset. You ask him what all the worry was about, after all it was just a cute stray right? The man tells you about the legend of the black dog on hanging hills. He said "If you see the dog once it shall be for joy; and if twice, it shall be for sorrow; and the third time, You shall die.’” He laughed. “That’s just superstition.” You tell the man you don't believe in superstitions and move along. Wandering through the hills you see the dog again only this time he has an evil stare and hardened blood on his coat. You pay no mind and convince your self this is a mere coincident. When you arrive back at the main area of the hills something is different.. The local you have been talking to has vanished. This cannot be good. You start moving around looking for him but nothing, until you stumble across a trail of blood that is. You follow the trail which of course leads you to the locals dead corpse. When you examine the body you notice teeth and claw marks all over. Your only option is to head back t the hills no and guess what? This will be your third time you've seen the black dog. Fight time! Will you see death like the legend says? Or will your reign victorious? **Quest 2- The Jersey Devil** Your Second quest will begin when you talk to a Lost soul. He seems restless so you ask him if he needs any help. He replies with "I just died last week but for some reason am still here…" You tell him maybe there is something he still needs to do before he can move on from this plane. He says "Well actually, my dearest wife Daisy is pregnant and I need to know that our baby is okay. Will you make sure my baby is delivered healthy?" You tell the soul you will help him and venture off to find daisy. When you do find daisy in her shack she will be surrounded by women trying to help deliver the baby. You tell her about her husbands soul and daisy requests that you deliver the baby for her. Blood is squirting everywhere in the house but you manage to deliver the baby safe and sound. Daisy thanks you for your good deed and rewards you with a bit of gold. As soon as you are about to leave the house the door locks and you are trapped. Dark horror music begins to play and the room erupted with screams. The new born child grew at an enormous rate, becoming taller than a man and changing into a beast which resembled a dragon, with a head like a horse, a snake-like body and bat's wings. You must defeat the jersey devil to fully complete the quest. **Quests To Come:** -A Cows Head -The Death Coach -Ghosts of Ringwood Manor -Jack and the Devil -Lady in Lace -Phantom Drummer -Ogopogo, the Lake Monster -Feel free to add any suggestions, like features or certain scary folklore that you may know of!
  4. Hey Eclipse I have a question. I'm considering scrapping my game and creating a website portal that specializes in selling 2d game assets. There would be multiple styles of game assets and they would be sold in game "packages". I think the art would be far too cheap to sell as individual peaces. So in order to obtain the game art you would have to purchase the whole thing. The game packages would all have drastically different styles, some cartoon art, some more polished and professional, some replicating pixel dungeon games ex. So if the first tile-set released was not exactly your cup of tea you could wait a few months for the next assets to be released. There would be two available Leasing agreements to purchase for each package. A Standard Lease or an Exclusive Lease. Both would include all of the same exact elements. The only difference is if you purchase a Standard lease I could sell the same art to as many other people after you as I would like. The exclusive would mean I would never be able to sell the assets again. The only term to the exclusive is that anyone who purchased a standard lease prior would be able to continue to use the assets. Each game package would come loaded with tiles, sprites and everything you can imagine. They will also come in .png and .bmp format, the .png's would of course have transparency activated. The art library's would be massive and organized by category's. The game art would be sent to your emails after purchase as a digital download, you can also request a hard copy sent to you by mail by either USB or CD ROM. My purpose here is not to promote my own graphics or website or anything. I really just wanted to know what you guys would pay for the tile-set above. Keep in mind the tile-set is massive, includes snow terrains, dessert, housing interior and much more! So eclipse…. What would you think would be a reasonable realistic price for this package and others? A price range where you would actually go out and purchase to build your game with. I know a lot of you are not artists and would still like to build a custom game with different graphics. I think we are all sick of the rpg maker tiles... What would you pay for a standard lease? What would you pay for an exclusive lease?

The balance of nature controlled this universe and for many century's **Soulscape** was a thriving world. Much has changed since these days. Without guidance and protection from the gods, the large tribe of Ziggens began to slowly kill each other off. After years of war the tribes of Ziggens decided to split themselves up into factions tat were represented by colors. After the wars nothing improved, tribes started perfecting hand to hand combat and practicing the dark arts. Solomon was the first of the Ziggens to begin tampering with the dark arts of witchery. Legend has it he was taught by some of the finest witches in all of **Soulscape**. Over time Solomon's power became too great, the faction leader ordered their army's to come together to stop Solomon. There was no use. Solomon specialized in raising beings, objects and other means of getting what he wanted. During these attacks Solomon raised aliens, unicorns, monsters and other things that permanently changed the world of **Soulscape** as we know it. Before Solomon's demise, he created a powerful ring that was enchanted with the spirit of evil. Solomon's ring(also known as the soul ring) is know in the presence of **Soulscapes** highest religious figures. He used this ring to raise the most important demons of hell. Today, many Ziggens have recreated his power of raising hells demons. The only problem is, Solomon's ring is the only known object that can capture the demons soul once they are slaughtered. Anyway. **Firemaking-** Those logs are finnaly coming into play. Use your logs to start campfires for festivals or cooking.   11. Thanks, the plan is to use the epic inventor open source work to use as a base for my game. I need to find someone skilled in java to expand upon this base work. This most likely isn't the proper community to be searching for a java coder, but you never know.

Wandering Star is a game that explores the possibility of a catastrophic event occurring on earth before humans were able to advance in the technological era. About 100 years after the passing of Christ, a giant meteorite/planet finds itself crashing into the planet Earth. Thankfully only certain areas on Earth were destroyed, a portion of the planet remains preserved from the impact. Not for long though. The meteorite was carrying a negative energy. Alien monsters, disease and destruction. Earth is now on a fast pace towards defeat. With darkness surrounding, the player is then faced with the challenge of survival. Gathering ingredients from the earth and crafting them into useful items is the game now. Build a house to stay alive, craft items, weapons and armor! Eventually the goal is to learn the anti gravity technology of spaceships and evacuate earth! With a spaceship you can find planets to inhabit and bring towns people with you to save humanity! There is also the option of taking over and saving earth completely. If you remove 100% of the meteorite fragments from the impact and kill off the proper alien bosses. Though, the overall goal is to venture space and inhabit new planets to discover new metals, ores, weapons and technology. RANDOM EVENTS- Alien Invasion - You can be abducted, try to escape the invasion or pay them off. Successful abduction brings you to another planet Meteorite showers - Damages players, towns people and buildings on impact. On the other hand it does leaves rare space stones upon impact. Tornado - Destroys all wood, glass, weak stone,and plants leaving a trail of destruction. Very low chance of occurrence. Rainbow -If it rains before or during sunshine the game will produce a rainbow. Rainbows produces a 5% chance of spawning a leprechaun on one of two sides of the map. The Leprechaun can be killed to receive a pot of gold or other Mega-rare items. Wishing Star/Shooting Star - Has a low chance of occurring, if it does player gets to wish for one item and receive it. The rulers of texo do not permit mining above land because destroying the land lowers retail value of the area. There is a catch though, these dungeons house some of the most vile creatures that exists in Texo. Sure there are plenty of Forrest, dessert and snow creatures to fight… But that is just boring. This means in order to obtain crucial materials used to craft the majority of items found in the world of texo, you must take a risk. I believe the one important element which is usually missing from most(not all) eclipse based games is this magical element of custom designs and graphics. As I stated above, when I look into these graphics all finished and mapped together I see runescape classic or something. That feeling of being a kid again and playing rpgs while the whole concept of rpgs and gaming was still new to you. Back then the graphics where simple, yet everything pulled together looked like a whole scene. You know? **Purchase land tiles:** Tiles(squares) of land can be purchased for in game gold. Land can be more expensive or less expensive depending on the region or area of Texo you are purchasing in. This concepts allows players to build citys, towns and community's. Crops can be planted and farms can be built! **Area base player vs player combat:** Survive with friends or destroy your enemies inside the dungeons! Yes certain areas of the dungeons are dedicated to player vs player killing!! Create and join guilds, then add guild members to your party system to train or pk while sharing experience! **Discover the lore:** Within the world of Texo hides an always evolving story line and lore system. The system can actually stop you from discovering new lore ore partaking in new quests without first resolving past issues and discovering previous lore. We update with new content every month and try to keep the game play as fresh and new to the users as physically possible. **Resources out the Wazoo:** Our resource system goes much further than mining, woodcutting and fishing. We have different tools which all require different levels of that skill and do different damage. All resources and skills are crucial to surviving and thriving in the world of Texo. **Social elements:** Texo comes equip with a great chat system, which features help functions, private messages, map messages, global messages, server messages and guild messages. On top of the nice chat-box Texo features the Guild system and the party option. The guild system allows you and a friend to create your own guilds. This will display your guild tag over your character, allow you to recruit players to your guild, chat in the guild chat and much more! With the party system as well, guild members can go out pking and training together as a group and share exp and rewards! **Metal Ores:** We currently have 7 main metal ores that can be manipulated and used to craft most items and equipment in game. Copper, Iron, silver, gold, platinum, Cinnabar, and blood stone. There will be other less relevant stones, gems and metals popping up.   16. Is this his right walking sprite? looks strange if its a forward view. Hes very small, was that the style you were looking for? Its going to be very hard to pd sprites of this stature, unless the minimal detail/old school look is what your intentions are for the entire game.
  17. As for the graphics, I think its odd that the water tiles are all detailed, including shadows from the cliffs. Then you move to the dirt and grass tiles and they are one solid color (with low sat). In order for this to look correct in my min, the water would have to be simplified down to a basic color like the rest, or the grass and dirt tiles should get some detail added to them. Then you got your random ground details scattered all over the place, but its only the same three ground details over and over again. If I were you, I add some ground detail varients(more than what you have) and add some detail to the dirt and grass tiles.

  20. This game throws you right into the magical land of Orderia, You start off in Ogre country where the local Ogres started a Small settlement in the woods called Callapar. The ogres believed that Elephants were the gods and worshiped them accordingly. Throughout the Forrest community known as Callapar you will see many statues and tributes to these Elephant gods. Right Now there is 145 items, 40 different magic spells, about 15 different mele skills. I am working on npc's so the land is not so empty. As of now I have farming, woodcutting, and fishing as the main resource skills. There will be any more, I just need to finish drawing the graphics oriented with them. All trees seen on map are chop-able, all fishing areas are fish-able, and all gardens with vegetation are able to be gathered. All equipment will be paperdolled, once I come up with a good base sprite for players. Additional information can be given upon request, I don't want to disclose to much information to the public because the game is still in development. Within a month i believe I will be conducting a closed beta testing for the game. If any of you are interested in possibly helping test the game, please leave some sort of contact information below.
