Would you write simple tutorial fixes? When using random variable selector from player variables in the event system, it will sometimes select no variable number at all (which I found reads as 0) even if you selected the min. to something higher then 0\. also You can not have more than one working auto start event with a timer. It will cause them to bug out.

XB360 Hardcore mode lvl 25 atm … and not slowing down... Edit: Also Hardcore mode my wife has two lvl 20's a monk and a demon hunter. I have more Hardcores as well lvl 19 wizard 14 witch doc. 20 monk. really having fun with it.

I was kind of thinking about how I spent 500$ on two 3DS when they first came out. Then the price drop so super soon after US release that it made my head spin… So Nintendo said to all those that bought it before the price drop will get these ambassador rewards ( which were crap and not worth what I spent extra) but still made me think if you guys thought of something like this. I do recognize that the 3DS kept its reduced price and yours is a special of sorts. I still thought it worth bring up. Anything extra for those that bought before this price cut?

See I think the game you make depends on the abilities and energy you are willing to put into it. If you guys want to continue to argue that its not worth 60$ because it doesn't have the source, then I think I would argue that you don't need the source to make a game. You need the source to make a different engine. I would say I agree with you if you want to make an engine it is not worth 60$ if you want to make a game…. It's worth more than 60$ ( if you can't make the game you want) then maybe you need a different engine. Then I agree again, it's not worth it for you.I simply would just make the 60$ dollar engine into a game worth 60$. It's got to be easier than making a game worth a 500$ engine I spent on mine =/ The real problem is that 4.x just came way too late... we needed 4.x when 2.2 was out. Now V sounds like it should be right on time... I don't know when it will be done thou. *shrugs*

To be on topic go ask a programmer to add a pet system like JC's (without ripping his off) to any engine here. Check to see if it;s as stable. See how much that will cost. I mean honestly if you're a programmer saying "That wouldn't cost anywhere near 60$" Then I guess it wouldn't really be that big of a deal for you to release a version like that without charge to prove your point. Then add the other things that are unique, like zones, mailbox with mailing items, ecta. Things that are done the right way, without complaining, and originally. Now we are talking about an engine that is worth 60$ So yes. Also I think it wise to mention about the direction blocking statement and path finding thing I mentioned earlier, I was only pointing out there is plenty room for improvement. If one wanted a better engine, I would start with things LIKE THAT, and fix those KINDS OF THINGS. Doing those things shows that no engine is better than another, they are just different.

Wow memories…. I use this engine- kinda of. It has so many edits to it though, you'd probably not recognize it. This is not the best engine by far... But... its the engine I love most... Thank you so much Domino =)

I mean honestly, there is no difference from the ofc. 4.x and any custom engine aside from some other persons work. So really you are just crying about not having someone do work for you. "fixes?" I just read how 4.x removed directional blocking to improve path-finding… Honestly doesn't sound like a fix to me. I mean really it has nothing to do with fixes at all, and we all know this. If you want to talk about fixes, I could go on all day buddy. I'll just end with saying I have not continued to test 4.x because I have not been asked to. Should I test 4.x any longer I am positive I'd find some pretty interesting bug that would need to be fixed. Now the difference about crying about something and telling you all to shut up is probably something you have not learned from your parents yet. I'll try to educate you... You guys will probably get open source when they finish the newest version of eclipse. Then guess what? You'll cry about wanting that too. Funny thing about all the people crying about not having open source, ESPECIALLY the guy who said " I like many of the older members used to love releasing tutorials and tinkering around "under the hood" but can not anymore." totally dude… You can't write tutorials or tinker under the hood of EO 3.0 or other custom engine at all. I bet Amish himself would just come a delete whatever help you tried to lend to the community with a tutorial or fix for any other custom engine. I heard when JC tried to help nin on line, Amish hit him with a whip, for ever line of code he fixed. Yeah... no more helping the community and its all evil Amish and JC's fault... How can you compare rpg make to this? Rpg make focuses on an off line single player turn base game. Sure you can modify it…. But I certainly can't. One could argue that it would take just as much work to make eclipse a turned bases battle system. On the other hand EO focuses on a on line action battle system that you can use commercially ( the commercial part being important.)

Of course when you don't have the money to spend on verizon you are going to say that cricket is better. This isn't even in comparison of apples to oranges. It's gold to led, juice to syrups, or even Photoshop to Windows Default Paint Program. Don't get me wrong, I was really impressed when I first saw this, but when I saw features being added and bugs pile on…. I was sad. Then the solution to the bugs was an option to take away features that render some of the most unique aspects of the engine? "lolwut." And now..... Like kibbelz has said.... It doesn't even look like it's being worked on anymore. I am so sick of seeing people start crap on here then quit never to finish because they didn't get money from it, or enough recognition, or whatever. I wish we had someone that could go through and delete all the unfinished crap on here so I did not have to see/look at it anymore.
