  1. Finally! I'll be able to play. Really like the way you handle retro graphics. Looking forward to it Kreator, good luck!

![](http://grubdaily.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/fainting-300x208.jpeg) Beautiful as always Nook, can't see anything to criticize other than what people have already said. I do like the earthy tones more, but #3 has it's own special style. It's all so nice, whichever you choose, I think they both give off their own good vibes.
  3. > Thats one damn long bridge if those are the sizes of towns. The bridge is almost 2 towns long. Besides that I do like your world map on a general scale. ![](http://www.ignitethecinder.com/enruin/img/Image1.png) Forgetting something? ![:o](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons//ohmy.png)
  4. > Yes, they are… If they're not as...obvious (Not sure of the word.) as I'd like it to be, do you have any suggestion to improve the look of it, just to make sure the end-user can look at it and instantly get it's a town? (Hope you don't mind me editing your image, just doing it for showing purposes) Probably something like this: ![](http://ignitethecinder.com/enruin/img/5c6551cb6ebf0debb4bfe04949a5df66.png) Don't know if you have the names yet, or even a style, but that's an easy way for people to realize they're towns, by naming them. Obviously don't use different fonts and colors, I just did that to show different ways you could do it. If you didn't want to do that, I think once you started to landmark the map more as you said you would, it would probably become apparent they're towns. Maybe if you can put small things other than buildings (again I don't know much, but let's say the era is medieval) like farm plots, or wells/fountains it would help. Other than that, I did think they were towns, so it's not that hard to gather when looking at it.
  5. Looks beautiful, well done! One question though, what are the groups of specks in between the roads? Are they towns? Just curious. None-the-less it's looking great ![:)](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons//smile.png)
  6. Kind of a lack of 'after' posts but it seems the contest voting is over? Let me be the first to congratulate Nook, it was a great use of the colour palette, beautiful lighting, and a very clean design. You deserve this win!
  7. I voted for Nook. Still woulda even if the 'Don't vote for yourself' rule wasn't there, mainly cause when I saw his submission I thought 'Crap i've lost..'. Nice to see i'm still in the running though, thanks guys.
  8. Man some people on EO have high standards, this isn't a site full of professionals, just saying.. The art is great dxx, reminds me of a game that I can't remember.. A generic RPG that you had to fetch something for your mother then you return and your house is on fire., Bah.. Can't remember what it was called. Eitherway, good work. I like it. 8/10 would play. EDIT: Used to calling most art pixels. My bad.
  9. *fanboy squeal* Amazing work, beautiful palette. Love it dude, gj.
  10. Gorgeous! Been awhile since I've seen someone actually pull off a nostalgic feel around here without using it as an excuse for mediocre skill. Can't wait to see more.
  11. ![](http://ignitethecinder.com/enruin/img/weaponedit1.png) It's a bit dodgy, but I ….said nothing.. :S
  12. Lol, damn Google Translate is leaking again.
