  1. PS tutorial to make logos? Listen to my advice, get used to whatever software you wanna work in and feel comfortable using, then all you can do is start working. You can't find any tutorials, because there aren't any tutorials on how to have imagination or how to be smart, oh you can pretend but that won't make it for you. Tools can't teach you to do something, you use them to teach yourself, but to use them you first need to know how to use the tool. Instead of asking if there are any tutorials on how to make logos in PS, you better ask youself if you know how to use PS, if you do know, then all you need is imagination and of course some aesthetics knowledge. Start by looking at thousands of logos there are, and see what they have in common. Some advices on logos A logo should be easy to remember, easy for the eyes. Depending on who or what company is, it should at least have a "spark" of who are you trying to represent in that logo, meaning, you don't make something abstract for a catering company for example, because it won't be related to their shit. You can go abstract though, but that applies for abstract names, also you can combine some abstract with that "spark" I mentioned above, something to remember wtf is that company or person about. Do not make complex logos with a lot of colors, try to avoid gradients if possible, try using less as possible. [this also depends, that's why you have to educate yourself, by looking at many logos as possible and which company they represent] The logo should look good in small and big sizes. The list goes on and on, you just need experience, and you can get it by asking your friends or whatever to make up a company and a story for it, so you would have an idea where to start, when you done some shit ask them how the logo looks, you can post it here to see my opinion too if you really care. 2 more tips Use vector based softwares like Inkscape or Adobe Illustrator it's a lot easier to work with vector shapes than raster and when making logos, everything is about shapes, it's not like you need to paint the logos. Use a sketchbook or whatever but to be real paper, sketch something in there then try to replicate on whatever software, preferably what I mentioned above, vector based. Try playing with shape elements you created in the software, arrange and rearrange them, put them side by side, see which looks better and why it fits better for whatever. Try resizing them, see if it still looks nice. OK, enough, gave ya enough infos, good luck!
  2. That's good, keep drawing and you will get used in no time :D
  3. Put all ur stuff on Google Drive or OneDrive, Dropbox, etc. Next time ur PC blows, u will have all ur stuff safe.
  4. You are right, no shortcuts when it comes to drawing manga or anything else. When you will become better at drawing I recommend using these softwares: Free Softwares: - GIMP - Krita - Inkscape [vector based, nice for line art] - MyPaint Paid Softwares: - Manga Studio / Clip Studio [uses both raster and vector] - Photoshop To get Manga or Clip Studio for free you might check some cheap Wacom tablets, they usually come with a bonus software license, mine was Clip Studio.
  5. There is no such software to help you draw manga easily or with no skill at all, at least not free, and even those require some level of drawing skills and understanding of what you're doing. I would recommend to draw on real paper, at least to try, because it will train your hand and eyes better than doing it on a computer, and when you got the basic of drawing stuff, human anatomy, perspective, only then try drawing on a computer. It will require a tablet [there are some cheap Wacom tablets, not sure about your budget]. Of course there is always the good old mouse, if you get used to it, you can draw with that too, though it will be much harder, also with the mouse you can draw in Line Art techinique, wich takes longer but the results can be amazing. If you are passionate about some things, you better start learning them, do not use shortcuts, it's like asking how to win the karate tournament without training in karate or at all. TL;DR - Use real paper to learn how to draw - Inform yourself about anatomy, perspective, shapes, colors, shading, etc. After that - Buy a drawing tablet to draw on the computer - Get used to the tablet - Try getting something done Alternatives to the tablet [obviously this is the harder way] - Get used drawing with a mouse - Inform yourself about Line Art Good luck!
  6. Oh well, nice, I think… Tho, one suggestion, instead deleting posts without some kind of PM, like "hey bro, deleted your post in X thread, because bla bla, if you have any questions regarding that, please send a PM to Username", THEN better edit the post and put in there "Removed" Talking about future of eclipse, telling to get hype, well... show us you can be pros, not just a bunch of kids with a forum.
  7. I have a better idea, tell your people to learn english, problem solved.
  8. For that I think you need to do a lot more than just whatever people suggested you to do, because I don't think you mentioned it that you want thai language. Not sure if vb6 supports unicode
  9. It can be achieved, but who will bother making a 3D model for every sprite you need, that means making Male/Female 3D models, the texture for them, rigging and animating them, setting up the camera and rendering the walk cycle, run cycle, attack, idle, dying, etc. then you will need Monsters, same thing, the textures, 3D model, rigging, animating, etc. Man, money talks when it comes to projects with graphics you're needing, not just pure will and a thread in here, and honestly, I'd say do not bother trying to find someone to work for you on such graphics when you have a VB6 engine wich ain't viable at all, meaning, you won't be able to convince the artist that your project will make enough money for the hard work he put on making the graphics for you.
  10. Searching for a pixel artist when the sprite u posted as example is a 3D model rendered, you will have a hard time finding someone willing to do that kind of style in pixel art.
  11. The fact that I'm still here posting this and not banned is a good thing, I don't see what can change anymore. When Amish took over and tried to milk every bit of money ppl had, everything started to go down, admins and mods were very agressive and started banning ppl even for the most insignificant things. I don't hate him or anything but I really dislike that he managed to kill the "party", lame party pooper he was. Try selling people something great and they will buy it, try selling shit saying it's the good shit, then you're an asshole, he was that kind of a man who tried to sell shit, he had no ideas, no experience with such things, if anyone tries to say otherwise, I'll slap him/her with the fact that he left after he destroyed the community and gave such a bad reputation to Eclipse. Now it feels like, whoever owns this place tries his best to rebuild a ruin, the exact same it was or better, wich is kinda too late, without a modern engine, since this place is about a "free mmorpg maker", not about "make your own mmorpg engine" or "discuss about mmorpgs and mmo engines" I wish you guys luck, and I hope someday to see this place awesome again.
  12. > a tip on finishing a game that might take this long are breaks. dont do it 24/7, otherwise it might become a bit boring. Nice tip Sherlock
  13. Come on guys, the engine/server dies if it has more than 60 players online, each doing their own thing, not just sitting there. You should better make just a simple awesome RPG than waste time with this engine and money on a vb6 coder and custom graphics.
  14. @'SimilakChild': > @'Dr.House': > > > Congrats, any pics? :D > > She literally just posted them like 3 posts above lol. Thanks, you're such a guru
  15. Congrats, any pics? :D

    Dance Of Death

How many rats and mices until I'll be 100% black? I wanna look like kid Michael Jackson.
  17. Awesome! Finally something new on eclipse
  18. Great article and artwork. The Logo is also very good. Mult succes in continuare!
  19. It's an interesting style, though you still have much to learn [proper shading, pixel lines, perspective], hmm and 60 bucks is pretty much for such tilesets, not saying those are bad, but I could make those and more for free. Try going lower? It's eclipse, mostly just kids around.
  20. You asked for "style", the trunk CAN be that thick. Look at chibi style, the head is bigger than it normally would be in real life, though, it is a style. My point is, if what you drawn is recognisable as what you wanted that thing to be, then it's all good. [In this example is a palm tree, obviously, I recognised what it is, no need to make its trunk thinner] Don't lose your main "picture" you had in your head when you drew those palm trees, adjusting to fit the reality will make it only uglier, repeatable, closer being a kitsch. Stick to the style you had in mind, and adjust what is there to adjust like Light and Shadow for a better pattern for your brain to understand and a nicer look. Honestly, I like the style of both.
