  1. I personally prefer PNGGauntlet for image compression. I've seen it halve or better some PNG files in size with no loss of quality.

  9. I'm sorry, I don't know how can I help you with that, mainly because this tutorial was only tested with EO. In any case, you should check if it was working properly before, and see where you added the hair-drawing code, because what you say seems to show that you added something into some NPC thing. I'm sorry I can't help you.

I don't really know how CS:DE works, but from what I know from Eclipse, you'd likely have to find a sub that runs every so often, like SendPlayerVitals or something like that, and slap the send drawanim in there. You'd have to add a variable to check if you've sent the anim already to not spam the animation, too. Is this any help?

  13. Did you add hair sprites? You might have to recheck if you missed anything when editing the source. It's all I can try to help you, as what you say suggests you didn't do it all and/or right.
