  1. Hey, Rob. You might of already done this, but in case you didn't, did you enable 'Real Defense' on your version? I believe there was some sort of armor system in the editor, but it isn't enabled (used by using the damage meter on a piece of armor). Just letting you know in case you didn't enable it already.
  2. It actually just happens when I click on the spell to modify it. Looking over at it, yes, everything does appear blank, but using the spell gives me the negative stats.
  3. Hey, Rob! Thanks for being so positive with the post! Love the idea of WoW looting! That's going to be amazing! I just wanted to let you know before I wrote that post, I tried the negative value for the buff system. It worked fine gameplay wise, but when I went back into the editor to change it back to positive, I got: Run-time Error '380: Invalid property value, then the client crashes. Also, maybe one more idea… The ability to auto target yourself/allies in your party using F1-F4 (WoW style), making healing and support classes (and targeting yourself) a bit easier. Keep up the good work! Edit (right after posting) LOVE THE UI LOOK! Very happy we get a bigger play space and using the whole 800x600
  4. This is absolutely beautiful. Professional, easy to use, and tons of options.I can't wait to see what you add in the future, but if I may put in my little 2 cents… Tab target - I have no idea if you can do this, but targeting the closest thing to you or auto-targeting something when you attack (ctrl) it I feel like would be huge. Maybe just another something to put in your new spiffy options menu. Key config - Using F1-F12 makes sense for normal Eclipse, but now that we have WASD, it'd be sweet to be able to rebind those to 1-=. So speaking of that fancy options menu... ![;)](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons//wink.png). Multiple NPC drops - Sorry if this has been said before, just saying, it'd be nice :3 Debuffs - Same as buffs, but taking away stats instead of increasing them (for NPC mobs and PvP). These would be a different form of buff that do NOT stack (can only have 1 of the buff per player, unlike how you have buffs set up) and do not have a max buff limit (well, it would, but maybe more like 10 or 5 rather than 2). Buff stacking option in server settings tab - This way we can increase the buff limit to more than 2, but not be worried players will stack their buffs on themselves over and over again. I know it's just been implemented, but I'd love to see that tab be used for a ton of stuff ![:)](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons//smile.png) Have quests/achieves/guilds be configured in the Event Editor - Personally, I hate NPCs, and I'd love to see characters be able to accept and complete quests from the event editor, IF this can be done. Have quests toggle switches - SO much story development can happen if you add this. Please. (Example: Complete quest to kill 5 Bees, after quest is complete, change switch BeeQuestComplete to ON, this way doing quests will unlock all sorts of things, and not just 1 item, money, and EXP). Change the speed of projectiles to our liking - This can probably already be done in VB6 anyway ![:P](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons//tongue.png), but it might be cool for specific weapons (guns are faster than bows, etc). Pet system? - Pet systems are over rated, and there's tons more that needs to be done before this is touched, but hey, they're fun to play with. This would be a beautiful thing to see right before release, especially because you have a way of making everything so user friendly. Maybe different screen/UI???? - Who knows, just throwing out ideas. Ya know, being a consumer and all. Thank you SO much for even looking at this. Sorry I said so much, kinda wanted to be picky because I wanna see this become the best it can be. I'd love to see this be the engine I use, you're doing an amazing job at an amazing rate (LOVE your buff system). Keep up the good work!
  5. Hello, I've been checking out Dragon Eclipse for a while now and think it's a very useful tool! I love the most recent 2.0 release, but there was a specific bug in both versions I really was hoping would get fixed. I know you said you didn't have this error, but when warping around the maps, I get: "Run-time error '9': Subscript out of range". I've tried this with events, no events, no attributes on the map, Moral on Safe Zone and normal, teleporting through warps, events, Admin map sets, everything. It shuts down the whole server, so if any player does it, everything shuts down. It makes the game unplayable, which is a real shame, because I would love to make a project on this. Please, if you can just fix this one bug, I'll give adding the NPC Spells a shot, along with the buffs and debuffs from version 1\. Thank you for your time :D. Another bug, by the way, events are a bit weird. If you start an event with a conditional branch, then have stuff after the branch ends, it loops it over and over again. Overall, fantastic job with the whole project. I can deal with a few event errors, but getting a fix for the map shifting would make it playable. Again, thank you :)! (First post on here, very nice to meet you all ^^.)
