So far i have Class Explanation More to come soon.. **Race & Information** **Shinigami (Soul Reaper)** Shinigami a guardian of the souls who are going through the circle of transmigration. Namely, they are "balancers." They exterminate Hollows who did evil in the world of the living; they ensure the safe crossing of souls - the Pluses who have lost their way after death - by giving them a soul funeral. Unearthly beings living in a world ruled by a different logic that the World of the Living. They possess high Reiryoku and a body of Reishi. They are invisible to those without spiritual powers. When souls with exceptional spiritual energy train their bodies, they reach the level of Shinigami. The most talented of them become affiliated with various organizations like the Gotei 13 and the Onmitsukido. Sometimes, a Shinigami is born among the residents of the Rukongai, and in some rare cases from Seireitei. Shinigami receive salaries, like workers in the living world and also earn bounties for defeating Hollows. **Shinigami Powers & Techniques** >! **Longevity:** Shinigami do not visibly age at the same rate as Humans and tend to maintain a youthful appearance for centuries. Shinigami can live for much longer than Humans, with some Shinigami, such as Retsu Unohana, being over two hundred years old and Genryusai Shigekuni Yamamoto being at least 2,100 years old. >! **Enhanced Durability:** While Shinigami can be injured and "die" like regular Humans, it takes considerably greater injuries to kill a Shinigami than it would in Humans. Decapitation is the only guaranteed method of killing a Shinigami. >! **Reiryoku:** Shinigami naturally possess high levels of Spiritual Power, which varies greatly in magnitude with the strength of a Shinigami. The more power a Shinigami has, the sharper their movements will be. A consequence of having Spiritual Power is that unlike powerless spirits, Shinigami need to eat. >! **Zanpakuto**: A Shinigami weapon, its shape is typically similar to a Japanese katana. Low ranking officers are issued an Asauchi sword, but high-ranking officers arm themselves with unique swords generated from their own souls. A Zanpakuto is a physical manifestation of this force concentrated into a blade. All Shinigami have a Zanpakuto, but not all of them carry one with them. Its shape differs depending on its owner. **Shinigami Combat** >! **Zankensoki Basic Shinigami fighting techniques**. Zan refers to sword fighting techniques. Ken refers to unarmed fighting techniques. So refers to moving techniques. Ki refers to Kido. >! **Zanjutsu is the fighting style for the Zanpakuto**, (i.e. sword fighting) and is one of the four basic fighting styles of the Shinigami. It is shameful for a Shinigami not to master at least this technique. >! **Zanjutsu Techniques:** >! Hakuda a close-combat style of fighting in which one is unarmed and uses only ones body, and is one of the four basic fighting styles of the Shinigami. Captain Suì-Feng of the 2nd Division excels in this style. High-speed Taijutsu attacks are used to overwhelm the opponent. Physical strength and skill is determined by this class. It also seems to be a combination of several martial arts. The foremost practitioners of this technique are those assigned to the Executive Militia of the Onmitsukido. >! **Hakuda Techniques**: >! Hoho is the name given to one of the four combat skills of the Shinigami and relates to footwork. Hoho is an important skill for most Shinigami, and is one of their four basic fighting styles. The agility and speed of Hoho can be enhanced and improved through mastery of it, concentration, and training. The foremost practitioners of this technique are those assigned to the Onmitsukido. Shunpo ( Flash steps) is the greatest expression of the Hoho technique. However, there are variations even within Shunpo that only master Hoho practitioners can use. >! **Kido Techniques:** is a form of Shinigami combat that is based on advanced spells that are produced with strong Reiryoku and fall into two categories: Hado for direct attacks, and Bakudo for battle support. It is one of the techniques in the Zankensoki, the group of Shinigami primary combat skills. Kido spells are triggered by an incantation. Experienced users can trigger them without an incantation, though the effectiveness of the spell will be diminished. The Kido Corps is a branch of Soul Society's military which excels in the mastery of Kido. **Quincy (Monk of Destruction)** The Quincy are a clan of spiritually aware Humans who once fought against the Hollows, using weapons composed of spiritual energy to slay them. As opposed to Shinigami, Quincy absorb and channel energy from their surroundings to fight. Unlike the Shinigami method of killing Hollows which allows the Hollow to enter Soul Society, the Quincy technique simply obliterates the Hollow's soul entirely. This method has the propensity to shatter the balance of the universe, because when souls are destroyed, the number of souls entering and leaving Soul Society cannot remain equal. This issue prompted the Shinigami to conduct a campaign to exterminate the Quincy about 200 years ago, leaving very few survivors. **Quincy Powers & Techniques** >! **Reishi Absorption**: Although Shingiami and Quincy both use Reiryoku when fighting, they both have a totally opposite fighting style. Shinigami use the spiritual power created from their soul in conjunction with a Zanpakuto to fight against the Hollows. You can say they fight using the power within. On the contrary, a Quincy uses the Reishi in the atmosphere, and combines it with his/her Reiryoku to create weapons. They fight using the power outside. They have an easier time collecting this energy in environments with higher concentrations of spiritual particles such as in Soul Society or Hueco Mundo. To a sufficiently powerful Quincy, there is no difference between spiritual particles and spiritual energy as a source of power. >! **Spirit Weapon:** The weapon that Quincies create by gathering the reishi in the air. The only limit to a Quincy's ability to create and fire arrows is their own stamina and ability to absorb ambient spirit particles. >! **Spiritual Awareness:** As a spiritual being, the Quincy can sense Hollows and other spiritual beings at a significant distance or tell in what direction they are in. >! **Quincy Combat** Archery: is the most used form of combat among the Quincy. Since they're still human, maintaining a distance from highly dangerous Hollows as well as launching numerous attacks on multiple opponents gives them a great advantage offensively and defensively. >! **Ginto:** A capsule-shaped tool used by Quincies to store their Reiryoku. It is an antiquated tool, but the use of it allows Quincies to perform certain techniques. The techniques can be effective enough to counter a Hollow depending on its user. By condensing and storing a liquid form of Reiryoku inside the tube approximately 5cm in size, various attacks are triggered when the stored reiryoku is released. They are used by Quincy for spell-casting in the same way that Shinigami use Kido. Like Kido, they are activated by calling out various commands. >! **Hirenkyaku:** Hirenkyaku is a method which Quincy use to travel quickly over short distances. Essentially, it is the Quincy equivalent to the Shinigami's Shunpo, or the Arrancar's Sonído. Uryu Ishida implied that its speed is superior to Shunpo or Sonido, though Mayuri Kurotsuchi's superior speed suggests that this is just a generalization. **Quincy items** >! **Hollow Bait:** This item is a small, coin-shaped disk that attracts Hollows when crushed.When used by Uryu, the bait, in combination with Ichigo's powerful spiritual pressure, was able to draw a Gillian-class Menos out of Hueco Mundo. >! **Quincy Bangle:** The Quincy Bangle is an artifact designed to mimic a Quincy's natural powers. It works by drawing in spirit particles from the environment, much like a Quincy does regularly. It can only be used properly by those who are already adept at forming and directing spirit particles. >! **Quincy Cross:** A cross in the shape of a Quincy Zeichen that only those who have inherited Quincy abilities and techniques are allowed to possess. Only those that have achieved the powers of a Quincy may possess it. Standard equipment for any Quincy, the Quincy Cross acts as the focus for a Quincy bow. The cross need not necessarily be in a cross shape, as Ryuken's cross is a pentacle.Uryu's first Quincy cross took the shape of a cross , but his recent one also takes the shape of a pentacle. >! **Sanrei Glove:** This is a powerful Quincy artifact that can increase a Quincy's power exponentially, but requires a dangerous and exhausting type of resistance training by wearing it for a week while constantly firing spiritual arrows to master.The glove works by scattering the spirit particles in the surrounding area, making it much harder to form a working bow. >! **Seele Schneider:** The Seele Schneider is a thin sword that can be fired similarly to an arrow. It's much longer than a standard arrow and functions something like a chainsaw: the spirit particles of its blade vibrate at ultra-high frequencies, loosening the molecular bonds between any spirit matter it cuts so that the Quincy user may easily absorb the freed spirit particles. Uryu also stated that using it increased his spiritual power.The Seele Schneiders Uryu uses are stolen from a secret storage room under Karakura hospital.
