  1. My deepest apologies everyone, I have been without Internet access for a short time now. I assure you development is still heavily underway and the day I restore my internet access I plan to release beta. I'll try my best to keep you guys posted. Thank you to everyone who has stuck with the project and my deepest most sincere apologies for once again having to delay release. On the bright side the beta will have much more content than previously planned ;).
  2. In response to Glum's update about the Maelstrom Cup, we will not be charging entry fees. I believe this is an underhanded way to incorporate pay-to-win in to our game and I have a distaste for that mentality. As of now I am changing the entry fee to 200,400,600 gold in-game currency. Thank you guys and sorry for the small update we're working very hard on content for you guys to have a nice full beta come October.

  6. Hey guys quick update just to let you know we are back on track, I was having PC issues but development is ongoing and ArcWyre is not dead! We will have much more coming within the next few days.

  8. Due to a very dire glitch in SkyWyre the entire project has been completely destroyed, there is no hope of recovering it and I've already spent too much time and money on it, I just dont have it in me to start over. Sorry guys but this project is dead until further notice.
  9. Every version of this engine seems to have a pretty dire glitch, Sky. Randomly the screen will just turn red and once it happens once it continues to occur even on a different vanilla version, but not on other eclipse engines. I've completely removed all of your data from my pc and reinstalled and still every version of SkyWyre is unusable now.
  10. This may seem malicious but it really is not, just some CC. You aren't good enough yet to be charging for your music, I would practice more, maybe join a team for free for now and work on your skills and build them. As of right now your compositions are no more than basic loops. There is no actual show of composing experience at all. Not to mention even if they were amazing and high-end compositions, no one is going to pay $10 a song for an eclipse game :(
  11. Very good for your first work, Growlithe. Though when using different shades of the same color for example, the darker and lighter reds in your hearts, try to hue-shift. If you're making a red darker shift the hue more towards red and when making a brighter shade of red tilt the hue more towards yellow. In pixel art little changes like these can make a huge difference in the way your art is perceived at 100%. Also when using grey colors, dont use a flat grey, use a very lowly saturated purple or blue, it gives it a much more crisp look.   15. Hey guys! Huge updates going on here. First I'd like to warmly welcome ArcWyre's new Web Master and Lead Programmer, GalacticGlum! He and I have been working the past few days on upgrading our VPS, making a new webserver, creating new and better forums and adding very useful code edits to the game's source. Heres a quick rundown of whats going on First off! Come check out our new forums and register to reserve your spot in closed beta September 30th, 2015\. Simply reply in the Beta Reservation thread. This area was meant as a tutorial for new players and the first step into living as an Incarnate for our veterans. The old region just didn't give you enough information or submerge you into the game as I would've like so I've added all new dialogue, quests, and fixed the maps up a bit. We've also added a nifty little server checker to the main menu instead of blindly clicking login and praying the server is online. more will be coming soon with the new dev log so stay tuned and please come to the forums and show us some love!   16. I just had this problem and I resolved it. Make sure you register all of the .dll's manually in regsvr32 from both sysWOW32 an system32

  20. Yeah, I followed their ventures into making the .NET engine and it seemed to be going very well when I fell out of the loop. Sad to hear it died, you guys has a hell of a project and it could've gone alot farther.
  21. –-Can someone please move this thread to the active projects board? Update- With the closed beta release coming closer ever so fast, I've been in a developmental high gear so to speak. Expect to see these Dev Logs packed with much more content (at least as much as I can without too many spoilers) Heres an overview of the update: -New Community Lottery System. -Much more added to the Valyon Region. -Revamped the tutorial to make it optional for veteran players as well as made it much more streamlined and helpful. -More added to the first main story quest line, the "Terror in Oldusk Saga" -Balanced a few things here and there to make them ready for beta. -Finished about 60% of Valyon City, the capital of Arcacia. -Released a full Lore Log of all of the cities, heroes, and stories in Arcacia, as well as added more information about Incarnates into the tutorial for immersion purposes. -Alot of back end stuff you probably wont see in game. -New main menu gui (old one was clunky and honestly just ugly.) -New music added to the soundtrack by our very talented musician.   24. I used to be a very big fan back in the day and I was following their jump to seemingly much more advanced engine, however when I jumped out of the Mirage loop a few years back I lost track of it's development. The old domain (Skideria) seems to be offline and I was just wondering if anyone knew what happened?
