  1. @'SkywardRiver': > A lot better. And yes, everyone judges company's like that. If Blizzard didn't have a game to their name, and made a post like that do you think it would entice people? Forgive my cynicism, just wanted to give you guys some advice on presentation lol. No worries, thank you. Just know it was intentional. :)
  2. @'SkywardRiver': > Awful lot of talk for a company that (as far as I can tell from this post) hasn't put out any noteworthy games. Instead of talking like you're graciously giving people the opportunity to let them work for you, what can this company do for it's workers? What kind of games do you make? How much publicity have you garnered? Stuff like that. If you judge a team/company's authenticity or ability to talk about themselves in a proud manner based on "noteworthy" games they've released, the answer to your questions wont change the fact that we aren't your cup of tea. In any case, just in case others may have the same questions. Do for workers: That is something for the individuals who are interested in joining to experience and find out. We can write a long list of things and whether or not it is true is something you wouldn't know. What we've been able to do thus far for those involved has kept them involved, and others found themselves at AAA studios thereafter. Games we make: Our website should give you a solid idea. We want people who are interested enough to go through the trouble of figuring out the simple bits to who we are without us laying it on the table. Publicity: We have products that aren't mentioned that we are working on that has been on national television and magazines, and titles that aren't completed yet mentioned in various blogs and news sites. We aren't following our publicity so there is no solid answer to this. We've worked with a university and the product we worked on will be in k-12 schools throughout the US. We also run an educational [YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/c/Curiosity180LetsTalkAboutIt-c180) series that we forsee reaching a large amount of subscriptions within the year. In any case, hope this answers your question and any others who might've wondered the same thing! Primarily we avoided listing all what we have accomplished or can do because this thread/post is to see those who stand out and have individuals realize they are apart of something that will be interesting in their own way.
  3. ![](https://s31.postimg.org/ll0dtctuz/501365_Z9ng5_WU0.png) Our team started right here back in the old days of Eclipse Origins. After a successful time at E3, it has come to our attention that the vision we have for our company is one that requires dedicated and motivated individuals all working towards the same goals. We have a small group developing around the clock to build a brand behind our company, but we need more members. We are not looking for specific roles or positions to fill, rather we are looking for people who stand out. Please visit [**this**](https://www.jumpbuttonstudio.com/careers/) page and fill out the form. What we are looking for is someone who is able to show us through their words and accomplishments why we should give them the opportunity to join us on our journey. All positions from marketing to programming are available. Anyone able to develop mobile apps/games will be prioritized when we look through applications. A bonus to joining our journey is a chance at attending E3 in any of the years to come and representing our company along with other members. This is indeed a non-paying opportunity for the moment but you will have opportunities to work on paid projects as well as get free tools to use towards development. Definitely consider!
  4. Aha, thank you all for the support! We will be hosting a charity stream on the 29th and 30th of this month with various streamers including the guys who host the DICE Awards. There will be lots of fun giveaways and communicating so we would like to extend an invitation to Eclipse to take part in these events. 5. I suppose April is also the month of returning, haha. Welcome back.
  6. Once upon a time, I found time to become less busy and revisit the place where everything began. Before I go on and leave a link to the most recent news letter with lots of information and news, I would like to remind this community that it has the ability to empower and provide opportunities to individuals who have a strong passion towards game development. A few years back, I was just an individual browsing and connecting with this community. I stumbled upon a project that started within Eclipse and now, I am heading a company the stemmed from this very community doing things and being involved with things I never imagined myself doing. This year members of my company will be attending E3 under an industry pass, meaning free tickets, due to the work we have accomplished and done. That was a milestone I had set for 5 years from now. In any case, moral of the story guys… take advantage of what Eclipse is and has to offer. I've been away for a long time, but I intend to return and help provide more opportunities to this community for what it has made possible for me. Only those willing will see it to the end. Now, after reading that... please visit this [newsletter](http://eepurl.com/bXKJA1) and join in on our adventure! * * * [![](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CgGMA8OUsAM-Dj7.jpg:large)](http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=615557385)
  7. Here is a link to the first newsletters sent out two days ago. http://eepurl.com/bxcSQb If you have yet to subscribe or start following the project, now is the time. Aside from this, I plan to be more active around the Eclipse community as a co-owner and doing what I can to see this community thrive.

    Patience

Sorry you all feel that way but we still care. Right now it isn't what we care about but what we need to do, and we have various things going on so that places eclipse in the middle of priorities, though we do plan things that we need to do once our focuses are back in track. Feel free to insult us as much as you think necessary but that wont change the speed of things. Just know, one day you'll visit this site, and be shocked. That day is within this year. It is just a matter of when we can get to it. We apologize.
  9. @'Marsh': > I need my smileys back. How am I supposed to communicate my complex emotional state without them? :( You got it :) give us the weekend.
  10. If you don't follow our social media, here is a link to our soundcloud. You can listen to game music on there as we upload them. https://soundcloud.com/keeperandthesoldier-kats

    E3

@'Marsh': > No idea how to quote people on this forum as the quote button never works. > > No, E3 is really more for marketing now a days. So no reason for programmers to go. GDC is more the industry event that we would go to. Some programmers on my friends team are being sent to E3, but I think its pretty rare. Like I said mostly marketing guys. I mean I guess it is possible I would be sent. But unlikely. > > [Edit] > > That is the company sending you and paying your way though. I may be able to tag along though. Never really looked into it. Sadly the quote is a bit weird, will look into but you can quote by choosing the ' "Reply ' option before the quote.
  12. Just a concept of something we're going to do this summer. Stay tuned and be sure to subscribe for newsletters to be informed first! ![](http://s3.postimg.org/z193grokz/KATS_temple.png)

  15. @'xelander': > I think an option to disable it outside the forum front page should be considered. Sounds like this is what we'll do. :)
