  1. Even though I'm not familiar with this particular engine, but I believe there's a way you can take in the width of the image and use that to center the shadow no matter the size.

  4. Bigger maps are better for 3D games. I personally prefer medium sized maps with intricate details. But a combination of larger -> medium -> small maps can work amazingly as long as you connect them in a smart/efficient way.

    Hello fellow Eclipsians, it is I, Sunku. The guy that passively creates things while mostly talkin it up in sb, yeah. Well I had an excellent idea since I find myself without anyone to play this particular game with. Why not go to a forum I use a lot and ask people their BDN? (because consoles durr) But yeah, I decided to start a thread where we can plant our PSN/GamerTag/BDN down so we can all grow (get it, farm) our friendslist with enough people that there will be someone on almost always when you are.     Yeah, best bet is you go in there and find where it is relevant to your situation and then change it there, either to the variable or the number of choice

  11. Hey everyone, I'm posting this here so I can keep track of my progress as a pixel artist and to get legitimate criticism from the community. All opinions are welcome, but I would especially appreciate it if some sort of advice was added on as well. I thank anyone for stopping by and I appreciate the feed back.   15. I get that and I've been a part of testing it and I believe it's gonna be amazing, but I still want to see if the community would accept a Java 'overhaul' of this engine.
  16. Hello Eclipse! The name is Sunku and I have been an on and off member of Eclipse for a long time. The first time I visited the site was back when EE and Eclipse Stable along with the whole old script system. I officially joined when EO 2.0 was released or around that time. I have watched time and time again as I see the idea of an Eclipse coded completely in Java and I feel like this is a great idea, but most people end up tossing the idea aside for one reason or another. I have been practicing my programming skills over the years and feel confident in creating a whole engine, as I have prototypes sitting around on my computer. But the reason I come here with this information is I was wondering if you guys would like to see a Java 'overhaul' of Eclipse? I would use EO 2.0 as my base Eclipse feature wise, and work from there. I would be 100% dedicated to the engine and look into any thread I create for it for ideas and criticism. My vision for this, is to make it fairly noob friendly whether it's for those that don't know any programming or someone that wants to get a little dirty in the code so there would be a fair amount of code documentation and all that. I appreciate all responses.

    Welcome back! I wasn't really "a part" of the community back when that was the site's name, but I have been lurking since. I believe one of the aprils I went through, the whole site was MLP themed. But I've been here longer than that. But yeah, welcome back!
