  1. @Mohenjo-Daro Oh man, Im sorry to hear that. I hope things are ok on your end given the circumstances. I was only asking about a time frame because Im hesitant to work on maps as it is. Another solution though, would be to just work in ver 1.8.2 for the time being, as that version doesnt seem to have the cursor issue. I just want to be sure that there wont be any issues transferring everything from 1.8.2 to 1.9.0 before I start that. Should I be concerned about that or should I go ahead and start mapping in 1.8.2?
  2. @Mohenjo-Daro Ok, thanks. Glad to know its not something unique to me. When I get issues like this Im always worried that its some kind of unique issue and everyone is just kinda going to shrug at it. I had read through some of the ver1.9.0 thread and I know that you said it was hopefully slated for a release by the end of the summer. Is it still up in the air, or is a narrower time frame realistic yet?
  3. When Im editing in the maps section in the dev panel, the highlighted block doesnt seem to be aligned with where my cursor actually is. Heres a cropped screenshot: https://ibb.co/dKQ21MP I put a red dot where the cursor is. The issue seems to get worse as I head towards the lower right of the screen, and is less of a problem the closer I get to the upper left. I doesnt even seem to be a present issue in the upper-leftmost square. I saw some threads on here talking about this kind of issue happening if you follow a tutorial on the touchofdeath forums, but I didnt do anything like that. Its behaving like this right out of the box.
  4. I was searching for this for awhile myself, and after finding a dozen or so links to dead websites, finally found a working one that took me to the kind of tool I was looking for. Figured Id share. https://uuksu.fi/other/RM2k2XP/RM2k2XP_1.0.zip You put entire charsets that would have been compatible in RPG Maker 2003 into a folder and this program cuts out each individual character from the charset and sizes it correctly for Eclipse. It seems to even get rid of the background, which was a nice surprise. Does chipsets too.
  5. I was having trouble with mscomctl.ocx myself. My fix was this: -Download a fresh copy of mscomctl.ocx here: https://www.ocxme.com/download/3266/MSCOMCTL.OCX -Extract it to User/Windows/SysWOW64 (if 64 bit) or User/Windows/System32 (if 32 bit) -Open command prompt as admin and type these commands, hitting enter after each line: cd\ cd %systemroot%\syswow64 regsvr32 /u mscomctl.ocx regsvr32 mscomctl.ocx -(If 32 bit system, replace the syswow64 with system32) Give that a shot.
  6. Ages ago I had a program that would convert charsets from RPG Maker 2k3 to the Eclipse format, but for the life of me I cant find it or even anything about it. Im hoping that someone here knows where I can get it or an alternative. Thanks.
  7. I installed it and everything. It still doesnt work.
  8. pain.wav and sword.wav are the only 2 sounds ive attempted in game and each give me an error each time. It says: Unable to play (root)/pain.wav! Either the path/URL you typed is incorrect, or your computer does not have the codec required to play it. So im guessing its the codec thing? Im using windows 7 if that info helps. Anyone have any ideas? The files ARE where theyre supposed to be.
