  1. Sounds like a great idea Crest. I'm a returning Eclipse user, from ages ago lol. Eclipse was the inspiration that pushed me into the direction of computer science and game design. I missed the community and that's why I've come back, but it's like all of the people I knew have left.. So hopefully I can make new friends on here! My name is Justin btw. It's good to be back.
  2. > I'm kind of confused. It says extract to game folder but how does that help? Do I need to put the files in the folder I give to other people? If I do that, how does it know when to change currentversion and newversion so that next time it gets run when I update it can go to the next version not the current one? Sorry if thats confusing.

It's written in the coding; when you upload a new version, the patcher will be able to detect that and change it's version.

Zombies, with current technologies, simply cannot exist from a biological standpoint. It would require someone literally make a viral disease that turns dead bodies into puppets, a virus(basically DNA injector) would have to control(dead bodies decay and fall apart, I don't think it is possible). You could believe that bacteria could cause such a zombie like illness, but you would be way off. Penicillin, antibiotics, and white blood cells would/could simply stop and kill the bacteria. Only possible way I could imagine would be a parasite, which I don't believe a parasite would ever evolve to a point of where it controls it's host. All organisms live to pass there genes on, that is nature, the ability to control a host is just simply not an adaptation that would assist in the passing of genes to an offspring.

  4. I find this thread funny, however, I do have plans for a senerio like this. I have a bugout bag packed and ready and I have knowledge of the plants/animals/resources of Kentucky forest that I can use to help my survival; however, chances are I would die, even with these precautions, most likely by someone shooting me with a gun to take my supplies.  ;)

Not to be a downer, but printing the strings A, B, C, and D, without adding spaces, will result in, "ILoveElipseOrigins"… xD

    > Below I've posted an edit, The Left most edit I've done to your sheet is a VERY simple sketch over with a 3x3 brush. I've done this to get a general shape. added the basic highlights.

    > Next to it. I've copied over the sketch and zoomed to begin doing a actual pixel level edit. Where I've added in your second darket skin tone. blending between the muscles where needed.

Wow, you make it seem so easy… I'll try to take my time and re-pixel it... s:

Okay thanks, it is late so I will get some rest lol. I'll tackle this again tomorrow.
  8. I feel it looks radically bent now… Why can't I get it right? -_-

EDIT: He's doing lunges when he walks left or right. (:
  9. @Aeri:

    > He's got a John Wayne stance, which makes his legs look like bendy sausages when he moves. Try and make them closer together.

LMFAO, I agree, but first I really want to get somewhere with the side views, which are giving me much grief.
  10. @kahnival:

    > For starters he looks smaller than your forward facing ones?
    > Or am I just being a moron….

Fixed, missing 1 pixel in the legs… What now? ): I keep trying to change it around, but it looks awful... This is my first time making a character sprite. I seriously have no artist ability. /:
  11. I seriously need help with pixeling, any advice, assistance, or tutorial to help me make a human looking sprite would greatly be appreciated.

EDIT, moved the eyes down, but I like the pointy defined jaw look, so I didn't change it:
